Ontario Disability Supports Program
Employment Supports:

STRIDE continues to be a service provider for the Ontario Disability Supports Program-Employment Supports (ODSP-ES). Over the past year, we have improved upon and further developed the services available to ODSP-ES recipients to include a wider range of services, which are responsive to the growing needs of our population.

In 2006, in order to improve access to employment for people with disabilities, the Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS) announced a transformation of the ODSP-ES system. This new system will improve access to employment services, such as job placement and retention support, to help recipients and their families find & keep jobs. The new delivery model for ODSP-ES will increase the time STRIDE spends on employment preparation, job development and retention.
